Office on the balcony and in the loggia
If you have a laptop, you can park with it anywhere, and a stuffy evening an open balcony is the most suitable place, you just need to put an armchair. But for a stationary computer, as a rule, you need a separate room, especially if there are small children who constantly investigate everything. And in order not to make room in the living room or bedroom, it's best to arrange a study on the balcony. The main conditions for this - high-quality insulation, installed radiator( you can air-conditioning with heating air or tan), as well as a sufficient number of outlets.
The area of the balcony can be different, from 1.5 to 12 square meters, instead there can be a built-in loggia. Of course, on the French balcony, whose width is not more than 35 centimeters( only to put a foot), the cabinet will not do. The shape is also different, for example, at a length of 6 meters the width is only 60 centimeters, that is, a narrow elongated rectangle. There are also smoothly curving variants. If you have an area on which you can place a chair and a table top, sufficient for the elbows to be placed, the cabinet will be quite tolerable.
On a narrow balcony, a small computer desk should be placed near the left end wall, then daylight will fall on the right .On a small balcony in a square and a half you can make a desk-office. The monitor will stand in the upper niche, under which you can make a narrow compartment to slide the keyboard and mouse into it. All this, as unnecessary, will close the rising tabletop, which will be supported by the hinged doors of the lower compartment, with the system unit. In a closed state, such a bureau has a width of only 20-25 centimeters.
The desk-bureau can be installed on the wheels, then there is a place in every corner of the small apartment, and if necessary, it can be partitioned off from the rest of the room.
Home office if there is no room on the loggia
Work at home is not normalized, sometimes you have to sit at the computer late at night, and if the table is in the corner of the bedroom and you live not alone, someone's dream will be, to put it mildly,restless. It is better to settle all the same in the living room, although here there are drawbacks: it is in this room that the whole family gathers in the evenings to watch TV and chat.
Therefore it is necessary to fence off, in a corner or even directly at the entrance, which will create a cozy corridor to the living room. In this case, two variants are possible - a symbolic one, creating the appearance of a separate zone( screen, partition), and full, when from the drywall and soundproofing partitions are created, completely cutting off some space.
The partition is usually more accessible, and it can be made both from a brick, and from a tree, or a drywall. With this design, eye contact with the rest of the room will be blocked. However, if there is a TV in the living room or an interesting conversation will begin, distracting factors causing irritation will be enough.
It is more practical to build a partition of gypsum board, fencing off the area of 2 square meters, then there will be enough space for the interior in the living room, and the office at home will be comfortable. Since the space within the partition is deaf, do not interfere in the walls of narrow insets of double-glazed windows, and the door is desirable to make a glass sliding.
A study in an apartment with small rooms
There is usually not enough room in the walls of a small living space, even for the necessary furniture, not to mention the angle to the office in the apartment. Therefore, the owners either use the laptop, or come up with different witty options, if you still need a stationary computer, the place you need more, but the power of which can be much higher.
In particular, under the cabinet, you can use the entire bottom space of the closet, hanging on top of the lockers for things or products. The only requirement for such a workplace is the arrangement of high-quality ventilation and good lighting. If you have free funds, in one of the walls you can cut a window into the residential part of the apartment, and insert a double-glazed window into the opening. The door is also better to make glass.
In some families, where not only adults but also children need a separate workplace that would not hurt to move around the small space of the room, they make the cabinet in the built-in closet .This option is very convenient, because some of the functions of the cabinet are also preserved, for example, the offices at the top, at the mezzanine level, the pedestal, or even two under the table top, the shelves are above the table. At the same time it is enough to roll an armchair under the table, and close the doors, so that the office disappears from prying eyes.
