Luminaires must be dust and waterproof.

If external wiring is to be used, the cable must be placed in a protective corrugation made of self-extinguishing material( upon ignition of the wiring, the corrugation will prevent the combustion process).
Fixtures should be compact. Bulky chandeliers on the entire ceiling will only worsen the interior.
If the balcony is combined with the kitchen, install several groups of light bulbs, each of which will be responsible for a certain functional area.

We also recommend taking care of high-quality natural light. To do this, install large windows or generally completely glazed structures. In this case, in the daytime, even with cloudy weather, it is not necessary to turn on the light.

Spot lights can be installed both in the plasterboard ceiling and in the wooden ceiling. All you need is to bring the wire inside the sheath and cut the shroud under the body of the product, as shown in the photo above.

If the balcony will act as a winter garden or personal cabinet, it is recommended to install directional lamps and even compact fluorescent lamps. The latter option can be used, because the room will be heated, which means that the temperature will not affect the efficiency of light sources.
