1. Cut the LED strip with strips of suitable length. Do not forget that you need to cut it in specially designated places, as shown in the photo below:
2. Solder to the wires' contacts to connect the backlight to the controller. You can also use special connectors, so as not to waste time working with a soldering iron.
3. Degrease the steps and glue in a suitable place LED strip. If there is no possibility to make a hidden illumination of the staircase, you can use a special aluminum profile, which will protect the luminaire from mechanical damage.

5. All the wires are hidden in the cable duct, which is attached either to the side of the wall, or under the ladder march.
6. In a suitable place, we perform the installation of a box in which the controller will be located for intelligent control of the LED backlighting of the staircase.
7. We connect all the elements to one system, connect the controller to the computer and load the code, which you can easily find on the Internet. The connection scheme looks something like this:
